We are looking for an experienced Zero Harm Advisor (Health and Safety Advisor) to join our team based in Porirua. In this role, you will provide technical advice, coaching and mentoring to operational teams throughout the region. With the Health and Safety of our people, communities and the environments we work in, at the forefront of what we do, you will be passionate about bringing people together to champion a Zero Harm culture.
Key responsibilities will include:
Facilitate and lead incident reporting and investigation process and provide support and guidance to People Managers through the return to work and injury management process.Provide technical advice and support in the identification, assessment and control of workplace risks.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent role based at our Makaro Street depot in Porirua.

To be successful in this challenging but rewarding role, you will bring with you proven ability to influence and drive a positive Zero Harm culture. You will have at least 2-3 years’ experience in the planning and implementation of Zero Harm processes and disciplines, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industries. You will also have:
High level of proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy, with a quick aptitude for learning and navigating internal systems.Flexibility to travel within the Lower North Island, and other regions in NZ as required.
