Description Zingerman’s Roadhouse is looking for a Roadshow service professional with flexible availability, including weekends, and are willing to work both front-facing and behind-the-scenes shifts. We are looking for candidates who want to grow with us for at least a year, including UM football season, our busy holiday times, next Summer and into the Fall. Full-time or part time, hourly positions available (full time is 30-40 hours per week, or 4-5 days per week, part time would be 16 or more hours per week, minimum of three days per week). We offer flexible schedules, including weekends, as well as a structured training program and the opportunity to be part of a team that values your contributions. This is a front of house position that includes preparation of beverages and basic sandwiches. Morning shifts start as early as 6am. Night shifts end as late as 11pm. Shift lengths vary between 6 and 8 hours. Compensation: $9.00/hour + tips (min $15/hour, average $17-18/hour). Our performance expectations are: Arrives on time for all shifts, meetings, and training classes Greets all guests (drive-thru, walk-up, and phone) and takes their orders following our Zingerman’s level of service Engages with and understands our guests and coworkers, including discovering and responding to guests needs through clear and pleasant communication Handles cash/card transactions responsibly and maintains a balanced cash drawer Maintains priorities in managing guest experiences and workplace organization (drinks, stocking, cleaning) Is knowledgeable about the menu and is able to answer any questions guests may have Maintains neat workspace and completes all assigned side work. Attends and participates in weekly huddles and monthly departmental meetings Follows the guidelines listed out in our staff handbook Adheres to our “no drama” policy Follows established checklists and systems in Roadshow. Uses prompt and respectful communication, in accordance with our “go direct” policy, when problem solving The Success Patterns for this position are: Can safely lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
