Description Greets and seats guests politely and enthusiastically, answers the phone and maintains cloud-based reservation book and waitlist, cleans/maintains the host area, retail areas and vestibule, and assists supervisors/co-workers as needed. Part-time (15-26 hours per week) and Full-Time (27+ hours per week) positions are available. Open availability is strongly preferred. Typical shifts are 8am-2pm or 4pm-9pm. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week. We’re hiring now and the role runs through around January 4, 2026. Full-time opportunities may become available! Monday and Thursday AM are a MUST, weekday AM availability preferable for consideration, and some week night shifts may also be available. Wage: $14/hour - $13/hr + tips (avg $14+/hour) Our Performance Expectations are: Essential Functions: Arrives on time for all shifts, meetings, and classes. Follows the training compact and takes responsibility for his or her training. Gives great service over the phone. Is active in helping "connect the dots" Follows host priority list Maintains neat workspace and completes all assigned side work. Positively responds to requests for help from guests, managers, and staff. Takes reservations accurately, politely, and enthusiastically using our three steps to great service. Other Functions: Follows the three steps to great service and the five steps to handling a customer complaint. Is able to recognize where help is needed in all areas of the Roadhouse and assists as needed. Is knowledgeable about the menu and is able to answer questions about the menu, is able to complete a Roadhouse menu tour. Knowledgeable about upcoming special dinners and private events. Attends and participates in weekly huddles and/or is responsible for knowing Roadhouse key measures and numbers. Follows the staff member guidelines. Documents all code reds and greens. Physical Demands: Must be able to move and position self around the kitchen, the basement and on the dining floor during the shift Bending, stooping, and being positioned upright for long periods at a time Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to balance and relocate a tray with drinks and/or dishes Ascends/Descends between basement and main floor Successful Candidates will have the following Personal Characteristics: Passionate about great food and great service.
