Description

We are seeking a results-driven Zone Execution Engineer to support execution of key manufacturing initiatives across multiple sites. This role involves frequent travel to support high-impact projects, with a focus on process development, equipment retooling, and end-to-end project execution. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting and the ability to
lead cross-functional efforts that ensure safe, efficient, and timely launches.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project management and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in process development, troubleshooting, and retooling.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% of the time for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or GMS (Global Manufacturing System).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and CAD tools.

    Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Travel to manufacturing sites (50–75%) for several weeks at a time to execute project tasks, launches, and process installations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support launch timelines and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Lead the implementation of retooling and equipment upgrades for new products or process changes.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes to meet quality, efficiency, and cost targets.
  • Support capital project execution from initial planning through installation and production ramp-up.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards during on-site execution.
  • Document and communicate project status, timelines, risks, and lessons learned.
