We are actively seeking an energetic, passionate, and motivational individual to join our team as part-time Zumba Instructor in Laguna Niguel. This role is an opportunity to inspire and empower members by delivering engaging, safe, and effective group exercise classes. The Zumba Instructor will help to promote healthy lifestyles and reflects our commitment to community well-being. Location: Laguna Niguel Work Schedule: Sundays at 10:15 am Purpose and Impact: Inspire Healthy Lifestyles: Motivate participants to achieve wellness goals and model positive habits. Foster Community and Inclusion: Create welcoming spaces and build meaningful connections that enhance member experience. Ensure Program Excellence: Deliver engaging, safe, and high-quality classes aligned with organizational standards. Maintain Safety and Standards: Uphold safety regulations and ensure proper care of equipment and facilities. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Age: 21+ years old. Education & Experience: Preferred: Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or physical activity-related field. Coursework in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and kinesiology preferred. 2 years of experience teaching group fitness preferred. Related background in health and/or fitness. Certifications: Current Zumba certification required. First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
