YOUR FUTURE IN DETAIL
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated PhD candidate to join our laboratory at the Department of Cardiac Surgery, headed by Prof. Adnana Paunel-Görgülü.
In this project, we aim to investigate the role of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in the development and progression of heart failure. To this end, we will utilize established mouse models of myocardial infarction, as well as transcriptomics, proteomics, flow cytometry, and in vitro models. This research has significant translational potential and may contribute to the development of novel therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes.
Applications from female candidates are expressly welcome and will be given priority in the event of equal suitability, competence and professional performance. People with disabilities are welcome to apply and will be treated preferentially in the event of equal suitability and qualification.
The successful candidate will participate in the analysis of cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in cardiovascular inflammation.
