JOB SUMMARY:

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments in a safe and organized manner.
This role involves loading and unloading trucks, inspecting and documenting shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring all shipping and receiving records are accurate and up to date.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and highly literate.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a warehouse environment is a requirement.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify shipment contents with purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately label and store received goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Assist with stock room personnel to place RM in correct locations
• Prepare outgoing shipments including, packing, labeling, and creating shipping documentation.
• Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Maintain clean and organized shipping and receiving areas.
• Communicate any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor promptly.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Assist in general warehouse duties as required.
