Are you a newly qualified Occupational Therapist or an experienced professional looking for a supportive and dynamic work environment? Holybourne Hospital, part of the Active Care Group, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (Band 5) to join our multidisciplinary team.

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), contributing occupational therapy expertise to ensure we deliver outstanding assessment, care planning and support for the young people in our care.
• Assess, plan, and implement person-centred therapeutic interventions.
• Empower individuals over the age of 18 to achieve recovery and independence, including those admitted informally or detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007).
• Provide care for individuals requiring detoxification from alcohol or drugs or those under a revoked Community Treatment Order (CTO).
• Contribute to the effective running of MDTs by performing key functions, such as liaising with families, CPAs, minute-taking etc.
• Assist with the training of care staff and others in the principles of occupational therapy, so that an understanding of occupational therapy underpins the work of the care teams.
• Keep records as required and contribute to the provision of high-quality management information across the hospital.
• Keep people safe from any harm and protect their human rights.
