• Our client is a well established company based in Manchester that design, manufacture and supply accessories to various high street retailers. They are currently looking to recruit a Junior / Graduate Designer – to Design across ladies, men’s fashion accessories, gifts, home and garden products.
• Clients include many ‘blue chip’ international retailers, who value their skills & experience in the design & production of accessories & gifts.
  Office hours;
  8.30am – 4.45 pm. (Mon – Thursday)
  8.30am – 3.45 pm. (Friday)

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ability to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines.
• Experience in import / supply chain industry would be a big bonus!
• Time management skills in order to prioritise workload.
• Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisation skills are essential.
• PC word, excel – Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Confident Communicator.
• Team Player with polite and friendly disposition.
• Fashion aware (some form of Fashion Degree will be an advantage).
• Self-motivated.

• Design of Ladies & Men’s Fashion Accessories & Gifts, and Home & Garden Products.
• Liaise with clients – discussing trends and range building.
• Liaise with supplying factories – discussing sampling requirements.
• Dealing with issues arising with sampling and designs.
• Trend forecasting.
• Sampling Chasing and Sending according to client’s requests.
• Supporting in sample preparation for selection meetings.
• Assist in Range Planning.
• Develop a sold working relationship with clients and suppliers to achieve an effective working environment.
