CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Accountant designation, or working towards
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a finance position
• Advanced Excel knowledge is required to perform job functions
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems preferably with Epicor CMS/Solarsoft
• Must appreciate a regular work routine with the ability to embrace change when required
• Flexible team player who shows initiative and takes on challenges in order to grow within the role.

• Work with other departments on capital asset purchase and management – ensuring strong record keeping and accuracy of budgetary performance
• Work with the internal Tooling department to ensure internal projects are recorded properly and capitalized appropriately
• Maintain accurate weekly cash flow forecast projection and inventory costing
• Implement new cash flow management processes/procedures through model updates and leveraging systems
• Produce timely weekly and monthly cash flow management reports
• Provide foreign exchange analysis and assist Director with foreign exchange transactions
• Process HST monthly filing and maintain petty cash transactions and reconciliation
• Identify process improvements that result in efficiency gains
• Perform special projects as required
• Assist with financial analysis and year end audit preparation
• Respond to vendor inquiries invoicing and payment a timely manner
• Ensure compliance to policies and procedures as well as confidentiality and security of all financial files
