We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract basis in Toronto, Ontario.
Hybrid Work Model - 1 day onsite.
This role is in the Regulatory Reporting team, ensuring accurate and compliant regulatory reporting within the Financial Institution. In this role, you will focus on understanding and defining regulatory data reporting needs, ensuring the processes behind data collection, calculation, and presentation are both efficient and repeatable. This position requires an analytical mindset and the ability to work with complex datasets in a fast-paced environment.

• Establish and monitor Power BI dashboards for ongoing monitoring of the Bank’s Regulatory Requirements.
• Analyze and interpret regulatory reporting requirements to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data collection and calculation processes.
• Develop repeatable methodologies for presenting data in a clear and consistent manner.
• Utilize tools such as Power BI to generate insights and streamline reporting processes.
• Work with complex financial datasets to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Document processes and methodologies to ensure clarity and continuity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.
• Evaluate and improve existing data reporting systems for enhanced efficiency.
• Conduct regular reviews to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data outputs.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and related processes.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
