Description Position Summary: The Packer is responsible for daily packaging of products in support of Customer Order fulfillment. Duties and Responsibilities: Verify and pick material per Sales Orders. Package materials and products manually per Sales Orders. Update and maintain daily Pack log with serial # information. Transfer material in the MRP system. Assemble boxes and required packaging material as required. Applies labels, barcodes, and identification to packaging. Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process. Maintain inventory levels for all required packing materials Clean and visually inspect products before packing Coordinate with supervision if errors are found Move packed product to next operation. Log onto corresponding jobs in MRP (Epicor) and follows all job paperwork and process instructions Maintain an organized work area by performing daily 5S. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Knowledge & Skills: • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, MRP systems, etc.). • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills. • Good analytical skills and problem solving. • Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Able to work independently (with limited guidance) and as part of a team. • Confidentiality and time management.
