PURPOSE:
We are seeking a motivated HSE Administrator to support our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs while taking on select Field Safety Advisor responsibilities. This role combines administrative duties with hands-on field safety tasks to ensure compliance with Canadian regulations and promote a strong safety culture across our operations. This position will be in Miramichi, New Brunswick.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
· Develop, update, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and documentation in line with Canadian regulations (e.g., Canada Labour Code, provincial OHS regulations, WHMIS).
· Maintain accurate records, including safety data sheets (SDS), training logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
· Prepare and submit regulatory reports to bodies such as WorkSafeNB or other provincial authorities as required.
· Coordinate HSE training programs, including scheduling and tracking employee participation in safety certifications.
· Support safety committee meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
· Monitor and track HSE metrics, generating reports for management review.
