Salary: £31,537 - £33,699 per annum Hours per week: 37 hours  Temporary / Fixed Term: 12 months Interview date: to be confirmed following shortlisting   We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounting Technician to join our Accountancy Team to help the maintenance and development of the council’s financial records and budget monitoring.  As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for the compilation and analysis of regular financial reports in respect of specific service areas using the Council’s financial management systems to inform and assist budget managers to understand the reports to enable accurate financial forecasting. You will work with budget managers, heads of Finance and Principal Accountants to resolve queries and variances and will be involved in budget preparation, accounts closure, and completion of statutory returns and grant claims.
