The role will predominantly focus on delivering quality legal advice and services in the areas of statutory interpretation, legislative projects, administrative law and regulatory law. About the role The Principal Legal Officer works as a senior member of an in-house legal team providing independent, professional legal advice and legal services to Hospitality and Racing (including Liquor & Gaming NSW) which is a division within the Department. The Principal Legal Officer will provide legal advice and legal services in one or more of three streams: administrative law, advice as to the interpretation and operation of the liquor and gaming legislation, legislative projects, regulatory advice and the conduct of prosecutions and other litigation and commercial and contract advice to support the operation and delivery of business outcomes for the Department.
