We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Etobicoke, Ontario. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting our Supply Chain team through comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This position offers the opportunity to lead critical processes such as budgeting and capital project evaluations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Consolidate and analyze weekly and monthly financial results, identifying variances and their root causes in comparison to budgets, prior performance, and benchmarks.
• Prepare and communicate financial insights and business results to both Supply Chain and Finance leadership teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide detailed analysis on product costs, new projects, capital investments, and process improvement initiatives.
• Oversee and manage the annual budget process for the Supply Chain team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize information databases and standardized reporting tools to support decision-making.
• Review and validate expense classifications for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in preparing forecasts and conducting detailed analytics to guide business strategies.
• Train and mentor the Supply Chain team to enhance their financial knowledge and analytical capabilities.
• Utilize expertise to streamline current reporting processes and improve daily financial tasks.
• Perform ad hoc financial and business reporting as required to meet organizational needs.
• Proven experience with business systems such as Oracle and Oracle Cloud.
• Expertise in financial reporting tools, including Crystal Reports and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of budgeting processes and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in data mining techniques and advanced analytics.
• Demonstrated capability to perform ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and their application in financial functions.
• Exceptional planning, organizational, and review skills to manage complex financial operations.
• Ability to foster collaboration and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
