In the faithful pursuit of this mission, our parish is seeking a Director of Faith Formation. This role designs and directs the comprehensive Faith Formation program for sacramental preparation of children and reports to the Pastor. Duties & Responsibilities * Coordinates the Sacramental program for First Penance, First Communion and Confirmation. * Teaches children requiring extra sacramental preparation * Recruits and trains volunteers. * Evaluates program curricula and acts as parish resource person in methods and some areas of Theology * Responsible for developing a budget for Faith Formation – Sacramental Preparation Program * Administrative oversight of registration, sacramental records and documentation, parent communication, scheduling, retreat and liturgy coordination, etc. * Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor * Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures   Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. * Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices. * Able to maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service. * Excellent listener.   Education and Experience * Master’s degree in Catholic Theology or Faith Formation experience. * Experience conducting online meetings and activities for individuals and groups. * Experience with administrative functions (budgeting, scheduling, institutional relationships) * Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook, Google Suite)   Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers and filing cabinets.
