The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Conducts engineering design. Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings. Collects and analyzes of data. Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Performs work in accordance with budget and schedule. Position includes design and analysis of rural and urban conveyance systems including water transmission and distribution systems, waste water collection systems and storm sewer collection systems. Field Responsibilities include occasional Field Assignments, inspections and data collection Work under the direction of the project manager Review of project drawings and specifications Observe, inspect and record work on-site to ensure compliance with specifications. Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports Construction survey layout and as-built record survey Conduct field measurements to establish quantities Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience in use of MS Office 365. Experience in CADD Software. Knowledge in GIS platforms. Knowledge in hydraulic modelling software, such as InfoWorks ICM. WaterCAD and other platforms would be an asset. Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position.
