Requirements: To be commercially aware and able to assist a team of engineers and technicians and successfully deliver projects to time, budget and quality. To provide wide ranging highways, drainage and associated infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary developments. Have detailed knowledge of drainage design including piped systems, SuDS based systems familiar with storage design and computer programmes such as InfoDrainage. Have experience in the preparation of Contract Drawings and Specifications and the negotiation of Section 38, 278, 104 and 106 Agreements. To be able to produce and have knowledge in the design of highways, access roads and infrastructure of projects including the design of road geometry, earthworks, pavements, drainage and underground services. Assist the coaching and support of junior staff members to enable their development. Preferred Qualification: Significant experience in UK development related infrastructure engineering; likely to be from a public/private/consultancy background.
