Responsibilities: Maintain own and others health and safety Carry out safety checks and inspections to vehicles, plant, equipment and sites as instructed Ensure that work is undertaken with due regard to the environment: prevent contamination to water supplies and water courses; maintain site cleanliness; prevent spills; minimise disturbance to members of the public; avoid damage to trees; dispose of waste only as authorised. Excavate holes using safe digging methods to avoid damage to underground utility apparatus Manhandle materials, plant and equipment Install pipes and fittings to the appropriate standards.
