Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may arise within the healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any observed issues or hazards. Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal procedures. Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols. Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns within the location. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to work in hospital environments that may include exposure to morgue facilities. Must be able to receive required vaccines for hospital settings as a condition of employment. Must be able to physically restrain individuals as needed in a hospital setting. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
