Trillium Gift of Lift Network, a part of Ontario Health, is responsible for delivering and coordinating organ and tissue donation and transplantation services across the province, as well as for planning, promoting and supporting all health care and allied professionals, advocates and the Ontario public in fulfilling their shared and integrated responsibilities in saving the lives of Ontarians waiting for a life-saving transplant.
The Lead, Data Strategy is responsible for developing a comprehensive data strategy to support Ontario’s transplant system, as well as supporting the dissemination and implementation of provincial initiatives related to data quality, collection, and reporting. In this role, the Lead serves as a subject matter expert, leads both internal and external stakeholder engagement, and provides project management support. Responsibilities include developing project plans and deliverables, allocating resources, monitoring progress, escalating issues as needed, and preparing updates for leadership. To achieve these objectives, the Lead collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders and partners, including clinical and system leaders, as well as teams across Ontario Health and the Trillium Gift of Life Network. Key collaborators include Transplant Services, Clinical Informatics, Data & Solutions Delivery, Research Support Services, Transplant Funding, Transplant Performance Measurement and Evaluation, and various Enterprise Services. The Lead will receive strategic guidance and decision-making support from the Manager and Director. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly pragmatic, deeply knowledgeable about how data enables health system operations and improvements, and skilled at building engagement and consensus around strategy development and implementation.
