Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and supporting infrastructure. Assemble large and complex datasets that meet functional and technical business requirements. Implement process and infrastructure improvements, including automation, optimization, and redesign for scalability. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using SQL, AWS, and big-data technologies. Build data and analytics tools that support insight generation, business performance metrics, and product optimization. Ensure data security, governance, and separation across systems, regions, and teams. Lead a software development team, providing coaching, mentoring, performance management, and technical direction. Guide teams in making and meeting delivery commitments while following established SDLC processes. Identify and drive improvements in the software development lifecycle and engineering practices. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra). Experience with AWS services (EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift) and big-data/stream-processing technologies. Hands-on experience building data pipelines, workflow management, and scalable data infrastructure. Strong analytical abilities, including root-cause analysis and working with unstructured datasets. Experience in leading teams, personal development planning, coaching, and performance management. Proven track record managing delivery of projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
