As a data analyst mid or senior on the Agency Operations team, you’ll drive the success of our Agency Distribution Channel by delivering actionable insights and supporting critical initiatives through data-driven analysis. In this role, you’ll develop, maintain, and enhance the reporting solutions that empower our partners with the information they need to make informed decisions. Working closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) teams, data analysis groups, and cross-functional partners, you’ll solve complex problems, optimize sales efficiency, and identify high-impact opportunities that shape future strategies. You’ll extract, clean, and analyze complex datasets, redefining them into clear, relevant insights while designing dashboards, reports, and visualizations that are both intuitive and impactful. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with partners to refine key performance indicators (KPIs), uncover additional data needs, and ensure reporting solutions evolve to meet the demands of a dynamic organization.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of four years of analytical work experience.
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience.
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience.
• {OR} Successful completion of Progressive’s Analyst Boot Camp and Progressive’s Internal Analyst Trainee program and a minimum one year analytical work experience.
• This position requires online pre-employment testing for external candidates.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Intermediate experience with SQL and SAS programming.
• Knowledge of GitHub
• Experience developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards.
• Ability to drive insights and tell stories by presenting data from various sources.
