The Engineer - Secondary Processing will support NASG quoting/sales for costing and implementation activities for all secondary (value add) processing across all production facilities. Use of programming, controls, and engineering skills to perform improvements, assist plants in trouble shooting of existing, and development of new value-add equipment/processes for awarded business. To be involved in developing new welding techniques, new procedures, and new applications of welding and metal assembly equipment. Uses knowledge of the latest general engineering principles to improve machine efficiency and process improvement. Responsible for coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects and quoting activities related to secondary processing to support the company’s strategy, commitments, and goals. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develop, estimate & implement assembly tooling & equipment for NASG projects.
