If you possess a deep understanding of the sheet metal fabrication process encompassing cutting, punching, and bending, this role is tailored for you.
With 5-7+ years of automation programming expertise specifically for our Salvagnini and Trumpf fabrication Lines, you will play a pivotal role in our operations.
As the Senior Automation Engineer, your responsibilities will include overseeing and assisting CNC operators and programmers in configuring equipment parameters to align with product specifications using custom software.
Your role will involve studying and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and setup requirements. Your proactive troubleshooting skills and solution-oriented mindset will be crucial as you collaborate with various departments such as operations, quality assurance, maintenance, and programming to optimize machine programs for enhanced material utilization, minimized downtime, and increased production efficiency.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in Automation & Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, familiarity with Camcad, Autocad, along with certifications or training in Salvagnini and Trumpf equipment.
