Drive the Developer education platform to help good coding hygiene and strengthen RBC AppSec learning posture. Deliver strong customer engagement through community meet ups, practitioner steering groups, focused user groups and partner product management groups. Perform market needs analysis on high level initiatives. Understand industry trends. Own the release management for initiatives including planning, prioritization, documentation, communication and execution of rollout plans. Collaborate with RBC next generation technology product management group, representing AppSec for feedback and prioritization. Driving our organization to focus on usability, quality and reducing technical debt. Build strong relationships with RBC’s application development team executives ensuring we are meeting their team’s needs, and RBC Vendors to align strategy and roadmaps for key products. What do you need to succeed? 5+ years of AppSec Engineering experience, working with AppSec tools like Github, Jfrog, Artifactory, Snyk and processes like Docker & Kubernetes along with software engineering experience. Experience with full stack development, including experience with frameworks and languages such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, or similar. Hands-on experience in API delivery, Data Management and/or Business Analytics.
