About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Team: We are a Global database team supporting mission critical databases in Aurora PostGreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle etc. The team provides global 24x7 support across multiple regions. Responsibilities and Impact: Serve as a strong DBA for Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL in production environments Provide secondary support for Microsoft SQL Server Handle daily operational support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance tuning Use Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of database infrastructure Support cloud-based database environments, preferably in AWS Work flexibly during the day to support operational activities, incidents, releases, and maintenance requirements What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Aurora PostgreSQL/ SQL Server Administration Performance Tuning and Optimization High Availability and Reliability Security and Access Management Monitoring and Troubleshooting Additional Preferred Qualifications: Terraform Automation Strong experience with AWS Familiarity with cloud operations.
