On behalf of our renowned client from Bremen, we are seeking a network administrator for the setup, operation, and further development of modern network infrastructures. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and high-performance network environments.

Your tasks

• Analysis of new and existing network landscapes and derivation of optimization and expansion measures
• Conception, planning and implementation of new network solutions
• Selection, implementation and further development of suitable network components and technologies
• Administration, configuration and maintenance of network components (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls)
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of malfunctions during operation, including technical support for internal users.
• Monitoring network performance, identifying security-relevant anomalies, and further developing security concepts.
• Introduction of new standards in the network environment after observation and evaluation of technological developments
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, network diagrams and operating manuals

Your profile

• A completed degree in IT, vocational training (e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in the operation and further development of complex network infrastructures
• Excellent knowledge of common network technologies and protocols (e.g., routing, switching, LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Experience in using monitoring and network management tools
• Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
• A structured and analytical approach to work, as well as strong problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of providing technical support to users.
