We are looking for a skilled and proactive Financial Expert - Accountant (all genders) in Finance Central Europe to contribute to improvement of accuracy, timeliness and transparency of financial month closing reports and execution of IFRS and HGB audits. This role will collaborate closely with the team members handling key accounting functions and play a central role in coordinating the month-end closing process, supporting accounting requests, audits and enhancing financial reporting practices, including both stand-alone and consolidated financial statements.
Your tasks will include:

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and auditing.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, especially related to leasing, project accounting and consolidations.
• Experience in a project-based business, real estate or private equity funds or similar is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills required.
• Fluent English, German B2 level and above.
• Understanding how to treat basic company transactions and their bookings in PL and BS (Dr, Cr thinking).
• Ability to explain easily accounting issues and accounting treatment to the team.
