SUMMARY
The Senior Brand Manager (SBM)/Brand Lead Hematology (m/f/d) reports to the Director Marketing and Multi-Channel-Engagement and holds full strategic and operational leadership for the assigned brand(s).
As a key driver of brand success, this role is accountable for the development, execution, and continuous optimization of high-impact marketing strategies, designed to maximize revenue and market share growth in alignment with corporate objectives.
Acting as the Brand P&L owner at country level, the Brand Lead is responsible for defining and delivering performance-oriented plans, tracking brand performance through robust KPIs, and driving data-informed decision-making in close collaboration with cross-functional partners – including Medical, Sales, VAP/Market Access, Business Analytics, and International Brand Teams.
In the framework of the marketing strategy, the SBM/Brand Lead has a leading role in positioning, developing, supporting, coordinating commercial projects/activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5-6 years of successful marketing/ product management and/or sales representative experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals Sales & Marketing.
- 6-8 years pharmaceutical industry or comparable experience
- University degree in Science and/or degree in Business.
- Experience in Oncology/Hematology or rare diseases and understanding of customer- and market needs.
- Proven track record of achievements in sales and marketing.
- Experience in relevant multi-channel marketing activities.
- Successful track record in selling oncology products.
- Excellent spoken and written English. Fluent German is a must.
- Able to analyze data and draw the right conclusions.
- Solution oriented and task driven.
- Structured approach to project management.
- Passionate team player focusing on solutions and outcomes.
- Can do mentality and proven ability to successfully lead and manage multiple projects in high quality across a matrix organization.
- Continuous improvement & innovation as a mindset.
