Job Title: Health Care Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 2:00pm (2 hours per day) (10 hours per week)
Salary: £12.21 - £13.00 Per Hour

Job Overview:
KASE Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistant to support one of our service users living in Southend-on-Sea. This is a part-time role providing daily cover to allow the live-in carer to take a well-deserved break. The service user has dementia and requires supervision, companionship, and light assistance during this time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and engaging companionship for the service user during your shift
• Prepare a light lunch if required
• Escort the service user to a local club or social activity if he wishes to attend
• Ensure the service user remains safe and comfortable throughout the visit
• Follow any relevant care plans or guidance provided by the live-in carer or care team
• Communicate any concerns or changes in condition to the KASE Care team

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting individuals with dementia is desirable
• A kind, patient, and understanding nature
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Excellent communication skills
• A DBS check will be required (or willingness to undergo one)
• Must be punctual and reliable
