Managing a team on site to make sure all compliance requirements are met. Making sure health and safety for security officers is kept to a high standard. Responding to and assisting Port Management and National Agencies in emergency situations, in a professional manner. Meeting and greeting visitors and staff, maintaining a helpful, interested and courteous approach at all times. Access and egress control. Body searching of passengers. Searching of passenger baggage. Searching of cars and light vans. Searching of coaches and passengers. Searching of freight vehicles. Foot and mobile security patrols. Passport checks. Trace checks. Working within ISPS code. (Full training in maritime security procedures will be provided where required). Management of, and issuing of, both vehicle and pedestrian access passes.
