One of the UK’s leading scaffolding companies are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their team as the business continues its growth.
As Health &Safety Manager you will lead on all elements of health and safety across the branch’s area of operation. You will be an integral member of the management team developing good working relationships with Clients and all staff members alike. With a purpose to develop and deliver a high-quality SHE services which monitors compliance with legislation, policy, procedures and systems. You will lead on all training, site inspections, record keeping, and engagement of staff and the client.

As the successful Health and Safety Manager you will work alongside the team and client to advise on all aspects of health and safety:
· Responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to
· Plan, implement, monitor and review protective and preventative measures
· Undertaking site audits
· Minimise operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents, incidents and injuries
· Attending design/project team meetings
· Answering H&S Questionnaires
· Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases
· Have a full involvement in the company’s health and safety paperwork and keeping within legislation.
· Responsible for accident investigations should they arise.
