Manage BRC certification, external audits, and retailer compliance (including Tesco Grade 4 or above). Oversee HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP systems, ensuring robust food safety controls and risk management. Lead investigations into non-conformances and quality issues, implementing effective corrective actions. Foster a strong quality culture, supporting and developing technical and production teams. Keep up to date with food safety legislation and retailer standards, ensuring site compliance. Manage supplier approval and performance, maintaining technical and regulatory standards. Support the business’s technical strategy, managing budgets and technical projects efficiently. Oversee supplier compliance and product quality by managing specifications, documentation, factory trials, and process validations to support efficient product development. What We Are Looking For: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline. Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Technical Manager role within FMCG (high-risk category preferred). Proven track record with BRC, HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and multiple UK retailer standards. Strong leadership and people management skills. Experience leading BRC and third-party audits.
