About the Role
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Visual Field Technician to join our Ophthalmology Department at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. This is a key clinical support role contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care through visual field assessments and ophthalmic diagnostics.
Perform automated visual field tests using the Humphrey Field Analyser.
Accurately assess spectacle prescriptions using automated focimetry.
Clearly instruct and support patients throughout testing procedures.
Enter results into the electronic patient notes system and maintain accurate records.
Maintain and clean ophthalmic equipment and manage office supplies.
Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
