REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for community-based roles.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs, promoting healthy eating habits.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients’ health conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalised care plans.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
