This position receives inbound calls in call center and enters information into computer for customer service. Answers telephone inquiries promptly and is responsible for intake of orders Collects co-pays and coinsurances for services rendered Determine the best method for providing service while evaluating reimbursement and cost impact to the company Educates customers on product availability Ensure compassionate and positive interactions with customers, caregivers, referral sources and payers Make decisions based on customer need, vendor pricing and third party reimbursement possibilities Open new customer computer accounts, enter and confirm work orders and monitor accounts for accuracy and completion Resolve customer concerns and complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action to ensure best service is provided Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries (patients and referral sources), both in the store and on the phone, with regard to appropriateness, availability, and coverage guidelines of equipment/supplies Suggests new or additional products or services relative to the customers diagnosis Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Employment is contingent on Background check (company-wide).
