Description The Occupational Therapist II serves as a primary clinician, providing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and education to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. Educates patients and their families in a manner tailored to their needs. 3. Develops and adjusts individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals. 4. Ensures daily practices align with established patient care standards. 5. Recommends appropriate equipment for patient care. 6. Assists other staff in assessing patients and problems. Collaboration & Communication: 1. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. 2. Participates in interdisciplinary team conferences to enhance patient care. 3. Certifications: 1. Basic Life Support (BLS) 2. Must maintain their certification with NBCOT.
