Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide individualized support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The DSP will assist in health and hygiene, community integration, mobility, communication, socialization, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Personal Care: Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating, and mobility. Independence Building: Support meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily living tasks. Goal-Oriented Support: Help individuals achieve personal goals outlined in their Individual Support Plan (ISP). Social & Recreational Activities: Encourage community involvement and socialization. Health & Safety: Monitor health, assist with medical appointments, and administer medications as trained. Behavioral Support: Implement positive reinforcement and behavioral strategies. Documentation: Maintain daily logs, progress notes, and incident reports. Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, families, and healthcare professionals.
