Performs finish and rough carpentry duties and assists in other maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED equivalent 4 years commercial or institutional work experience to perform a variety of carpentry, masonry and general maintenance duties. Requires a valid driver’s license Knowledge of carpentry trade and mechanical drawing, and the ability to read blueprints as normally acquired through completion of a certified carpentry apprenticeship program beyond high school. Knowledge of applicable codes, standards and regulations for healthcare facilities Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Analytical skills necessary in order to estimate building costs and quantities of materials and supplies needed.
