As Operational Resource Planning Analyst you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Operational Resource plans for Drivers, Conductors, Stations and Fleet colleagues - supporting operational managers to plan their resource/workforce capacity to meet their forecast workload demand.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• You will act as the Business Partner to Senior Managers, providing forecasting data and insights to support workforce decision making across the functions at both strategic and operational levels.
• You will own the process for proactive planning and governance working closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including your Finance and Operations colleagues, where you will support the operational decision making and financial control requirements, assisting with the development of budgets, budget reviews and forecasting.
• To help achieve success across the functions, you will produce a period-by-period review of the resources in each operational function, informing the recruitment activity in each, identifying the emerging risks and with a cross-functional governance group - lead the development of strategies to mitigate those risks and improve current processes/systems.
