• Drive innovation to further enhance and grow our market- and innovation-leading portfolio in ambient light and proximity sensors, focusing on advanced capabilities like color accuracy, light intensity measurement, and proximity sensing for display systems and camera applications in target markets such as smartphones, laptops, action cameras, and drones
• Closely engage with lead customers and partner with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to translate market needs into product specifications and development priorities
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, including new product development, data sheet creation, technical articles, design-in support, product changes, and discontinuations
• Collaborate closely with the display community (e.g. SID) to address their unique challenges and requirements for enhanced display performance, or with the imaging community to meet their specific needs for improved image quality
• Lead initiatives on demonstrators, reference designs, and software collaborations to showcase the value of our solutions
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. MBA is a plus
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in the semiconductor industry, with strong focus on product management or product marketing
• Deep technical expertise in optical sensor modules and display or camera systems
• Business acumen and strategic thinker, delivering customer-focused solutions, driving business growth, managing partnerships, and excelling in optical sensor market trends
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams
• Professional working proficiency in English and German
• Willingness to travel to customer and engineering sites
