Are you ready to make a meaningful impact at one of the nation’s premier academic health systems? As the Director of Operations – Advanced Diagnostics, you will provide direction for Stanford’s Cytogenetics, Biochemical Genetics, Molecular Pathology, Genomics, Flow Cytometry, Special Chemistry, and Infectious Disease laboratories. In this new Director role, you will lead many strategic initiatives including workflow automation, platform consolidation, test menu optimization, and facilitate the development roadmap. This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with Industry Leading Pathologists and Technical Specialists to manage complex operational changes and deliver results that shape the future of laboratory services at Stanford Health Care.
The Director of Operations – Advanced Diagnostics will work report to the Vice President of Clinical Laboratories and work closely with the Operations Directors for AP, CP on campus and network locations. Knowledge and experience in Advanced Diagnostics, Bioinformatics, laboratory workflows, and space planning/lab design are preferred. This role will partner with the Planning, Design, & Construction (PD&C) department to facilitate the transition to a new, custom built, state of the art laboratory building.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $81.53 - $108.02 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage
