Here is what you will be doing: The Performance and Accountability team plays a critical role in managing Ontario Health’s funding relationships with hospitals and healthcare facilities across the province. This includes developing, issuing, and overseeing funding agreements, as well as supporting non-funding agreements such as data sharing and software service contracts. As a Lead, you will collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams, Ontario Health Regions, and key partners in Finance, Legal, Privacy, Analytics, and Informatics to manage a robust contract framework that enables the distribution of over $3.5 billion in funding annually. You will also contribute to the implementation and operationalization of innovative, evidence-informed funding models that support a sustainable healthcare system. Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to timely contract issuance and provide thorough and practical recommendations to management to mitigate risks and resolve issues. Ensure interdependencies are recognized and addressed in a streamlined fashion. Understand, interpret and clearly communicate complex data analysis and results related to treatment/service volumes, funding, performance against program expectations and reporting requirements, etc. to all levels of stakeholders. Consulting with OH programs on strategies to address performance challenges with facilities and regional stakeholders. Flagging performance concerns through regular monitoring of performance data and supporting OH programs to escalate issues appropriately.
