Join our Enterprise Technology Services team! Our team is responsible for analyzing, resolving, building, and maintaining complex backend databases in support of multiple business applications. Position Responsibilities: Coordinate, plan and perform database migration activities transitioning from on-premises environments to Azure (PaaS & IaaS) and across Azure subscriptions. Lead complex fix or raised technical issues. Manage backups, recovery procedures, DBCC utilities, index maintenance job/database refresh. Recommend on procedure optimization, performance tuning & index tuning. Develop monitoring strategy / implementation pattern focused on SQL database instances in Azure cloud using New Relic. Build and maintain customized dashboard and alerts. Enhance operational efficiency through the design and adoption of automated tools and Generative AI solutions. Works closely with IT project managers, programmers, architects on initiatives. Planning, developing, testing and execution of Disaster recovery processes. Foster the culture of reliability approach by embarking on opportunities to implement self-healing database solutions. Maintain security, compliance, database hardening, encryption standards, audit, and access control frameworks. Oversee implementation and maintenance of database setup, installation, configuration & monitoring. Consult, guide & mentor junior team members. Participate in on-call support rotation including after-hours/weekend duties every 4 weeks. Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years+ of relevant technical experience.
