PROGRAM SUMMARY:

Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program (RCTP) – a short-stay restorative care program that supports medically stable
adults who do not need an acute-care level of service, but may require additional assessment, recuperation, and therapy before
returning to the community.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required, plus graduation from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program. - Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English is required.

• Must be physically capable of managing the frequent lifting, transferring and repositioning of clients.

• Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory required.
• Related experience in a health care facility is an asset.
• Program specific training/experience is an asset.
