As an Engineering/Technical Student for our Saskatoon office, you will contribute to our team by:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
• Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup will be considered an asset.

• Report deficiencies by going on various site visits.
• Monitor and coordinate trade scopes of work.
• Coordinate and update field drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Participate in project meetings and get a chance to be part of something bigger by working closely with seasoned project professionals.
• Conduct trade contractor quote reviews.
• Get to visit some of our impressive projects and job sites while taking progress photos and monitoring deficiency logs knowing that you helped build that.
• Be responsible for performing bid day assignments and overall bid document control. Everyone at PCL takes ownership and that includes students.
• Assistance with on-site problem solving.
