An international manufacturer of industrial machines is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the GTA area to join their Canada team. An ideal candidates will have vital maintenance/Support experience with industrial machines on customer sites. Due to the travel needs, a valid passport and driver’s license with good driving record and access to vehicles are required. This is a direct-hire position and offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Higher degree in Engineering or similar technical field preferred
• Valid passport, driver’s license, and clean driving record are required
• Must have own vehicle
• Minimum 2~3 years of service engineer experience in Industrial machines – Molding Machine preferred
• Willing and available for up to 75% travel to customer locations
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, industrial machine tools, and various mechanical and electrical components
• Exemplary customer service skills and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
• This position includes work in a manufacturing and warehousing environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

Work Location: On the roa

• Travel to customer locations to provide installations/repairs to Machine in service circulation in commercial and industrial settings
• Assist with in-house maintenance services, such as modification and reassembly of equipment as needed
• Train customer personnel on function and upkeep of equipment
• Perform phone support duties in-office when not traveling
• Communicate with engineering department to help customer inquiries
• Be on call for emergency maintenance needs
• Other duties as assigned
