Waterdown Collision is a family-run Collision Repair Facility that has been serving the GHA for 50 years. Conveniently located at Highway 5 & Highway 6 in Flamborough, our center is about to expand to a new facility, designed to utilize advanced equipment and modern technology for a 30,000sq ft state of the art facility. Our growing team is seeking an enthusiastic Repair Planner to join us at Waterdown Collision. The Repair Planner will work to ensure that our valued clients receive our legendary “Best in class” customer service experience. The Repair Planner is responsible for maintaining a proper balance between the profitability of the company, supporting the collision shop and the achievement of total customer satisfaction. This posting reflects a current hiring need for our client. We use AI-assisted tools to help review resumes and identify potential candidate matches, however all hiring decisions are made by our team and the client directly. Key responsibilities include: Handle appraisals, repair orders and supplements from start to finish Produce complete, thorough, and accurate collision damage appraisals according to the appropriate insurance company (or other referral source) guidelines using the proper electronic estimating software, which meet or exceed company gross profit goals Upload initial, supplement, and final bills as necessary to the insurance company Ensure ongoing communication with insurance partners, production staff and customer service specialists. Negotiate with insurance company representatives in a polite and courteous manner at all times when discussing subjective repair times necessary to meet the company’s gross profit goals Maintain a specific gross profit percentage on all ROs on all jobs (as communicated by the general manager) Participate in daily release meetings in order to provide key information to managerial staff Participate in weekly company meetings and be willing to attend training programs to enhance performance both, personally and professionally Maintain a safe and clean environment in which to work that reflects the excellent working conditions of the company Work to resolve any client concerns or dissatisfaction. Cultivate a positive working relationship with team members and management. Communicate and document repair status to clients and insurance partners.
